About Guildford

Guildford is the historic and vibrant county town of Surrey which has long been a favourite place for SW Londoners to settle with families. Its excellent transport links, countryside, schooling and shopping and recreational facilities are all major influences.

As an estate agent it’s an exciting and rewarding place to work with a variety of sub markets to operate in. Crucially the people of Guildford are great to deal with. Architecture from several periods is found throughout the town with the outlying villages being some of the prettiest in the South of England.

Without doubt, the schooling the town offers is a major driver for the market place and the town has become quite seasonal revolving around the school year in the last 20 years. This needs to be considered when embarking on a sale or search.

Most important to mention though, is the lifestyle the town has to offer. Particularly  in recent years, much emphasis has been placed on the cultural side of the town and entertainment it offers. People come from miles around to spend a day or an evening in the town and over the years I have met many ex university students who studied here and then settled.

If you live here you know all this already but if you’re looking to buy here I don’t think you could find a better place to settle.
